THE WORLD IN FOCUS WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 5TH EDITION.
The World in Focus started at 3:30pm, and ended at 5:30pm.
The programme was hosted by Njodzeka Danhatu, with Kesah Princely, Paul Njie, Wanka’a Regis Che, Mary-Joy Ake, Solomon Ateh, Akeabeh Sandrine, Beng Emmanuel and Emmanuela Ambi as contributors of the entire programme.
On today’s show, discussions centred on President Paul Biya’s creation of the Disarmament, Mobilisation and Reintegration Committee. There were also talks on CAF’s decision to withdraw the 2019 AFCON hosting right from Cameroon, as well as the death of Former US President George Herbert Walker Bush.
Kesah Princely x-rayed the hurdles faced by physically challenged persons in the North West and South west Regions in the course of the Anglophone crisis in TWIF’s special slot Beyond the Headline, (BTH).
Sports editor Emmanuel Beng Came up with TWIF Sports. He talked about the qualification of Coton Sport of Garoua for the 16th final of the CAF Champions League after they defeated l’Association Sportive des Fonctionnaires de Bobo Dioulasso, Of Burkina Faso 5-3 during post match penalty shoot outs at the Military stadium in Yaoundé.
He equally talked about the declaration of Ivorian Minister Danho Paulin Claude who disclosed Ivory Coast is no longer a candidate to host the 2021 Africa Nations Cup, AFCON and says they have been retained as host already.
The programme ended with a heart-warming celebration of Wanka’a Regis Che’s birthday. He is the Producer of the programme.
